The number of tablets Android from the famous electronic companies and new entrants are quite a lot but what if there is a tablet of a fashion company? Pierre Cardin has launched a 7-inch tablet computer that becomes "the British designer's first tablet PC." What makes this different tablets? Apparently "case tasteful" Pierre Cardin logo metal and "black gift box uber-cool."
Pierre Cardin PC 7006 Tablet PC, not a product of the first fashion house to the mobile electronics arena, there is the 7-inch and 8.9 inch PC729 PC819 which appeared in 2010. Both are running on Windows OS 7 and supported by the VIA C7-M processor, which means the battery lasts less than about 2.5 hours. However, the latest tablet is supported by Cortex A8 processor 1 GHz Samsung which promises better battery endurance course.
The tablet is still running the Android version 2.2 (Froyo) and comes with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via Micro SD slot supports cards up to 16 GB. Multi-touch screen capacitive measuring 7-inches capable of displaying 800 x 480 pixel resolution and provides connectivity options including 802.11 b / g and 3G. Like the Archos G9, 3G connectivity require purchase of a 3G dongle connected external to the unit mini USB port.
There's also an HDMI port, 1.3-megapixel camera facing forward and 720p HD video playback capabilities. This tablet has a size of 19.5 x 12.3 x 1.4 cm (7.6 x 4.8 x 0.5 inches) and weighs 520 g (1.14 lb).
So, aside from the logo of Pierre Cardin in the case of this tablet, there's really not something that makes it different from other tablets. However, when things like logos and "uber cool" black gift box is important to you, Pierre Cardin PC-7006 can be purchased at a price of GBP275 (about U.S. $ 447)
