Recently ARM introduced its newest product, the Cortex A7. In fact, they claim this processor as a processor with the highest efficiency level.
Cortex A7 has the energy efficiency 5 times higher than the processors currently on the market. In addition, this processor can also be used as a companion core-based SoCs for the Cortex A15.
Compared with the Cortex A8, A7 may have a more old-fashioned design. But ARM said to have several advantages compared A7 A8. Additionally A7 can be used for mobile phones with price range of 100 USD in the year 2013-2014 with the same abilities with current cell phones are sold for 500 USD.
