RIM Unveils New Developer Tool Set

At a developer conference, Research In Motion has introduced various new tools for developers to profit at the time of creation of applications and services to BlackBerry handsets.

The first is support for OpenGL ES, which will help improve 3D gaming and graphics. Both the Java GUI builder is the latest, which will accelerate the development of the BlackBerry user interface. Third is the latest BlackBerry Theme Studio to create a theme for BlackBerry devices.

In addition, RIM also introduced a new advertising service program, which will offer developers greater access to advertising, payment, content and location services. Developers will also gain the ability to embed the features and functionality in applications and advertisements, such as starting a phone call from an ad, add a calendar entry or entry from an advertisement, and links to applications in the BlackBerry App World of advertising.
